DEPARTMENT OF
POLITICAL SCIENCE

The Department

The Department of Political Science at Case Western Reserve University offers graduate work leading to the Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy degrees.  Although our department is small, faculty members are actively engaged in research, widely published, and place high value on one-to-one interaction with our students.  Case is one of the leading independent research universities in the Midwest.  In addition to the College of Arts and Sciences, Case is home to schools of engineering, law, medicine, social work, nursing, and dentistry.  We are located in University Circle, a richly endowed cultural site between the eastern suburbs and Cleveland's downtown financial and commercial center.

This page is intended to offer a general description of our programs. For additional information, please contact  the department's Graduate Coordinator, Justin Buchler: phone 216-368-2646, fax 216-368-4681, e-mail justin.buchler@case.edu .  Thank you for your interest in the Department of Political Science at Case Western Reserve University.
