Openings Still Available in POSC 322 Political Movements
This spring semester Professor Beckwith is offering her Political Movements and Participation course for the first time in three years. The course functions as an upper-division seminar that focuses on political movements (such as the civil rights movement, the labor movement, and others), and that uses social movements theory to understand contemporary politics, including Occupy Wall Street and the Tea Party. The class meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:45 to 4:00 p.m. There is still room in the course. Interested students are welcome to contact Professor Beckwith for more information at karen.beckwith@case.edu.
