Professor Beckwith gave a talk on February 18, 2014 at the Scottish Parliament Women’s Dinner, which was part of the celebrations of Trade Union Week in Scotland.

The title of the talk was “Current Issues in the US Labor Movement,” and the dinner, which took place in the Members’ Restaurant, included Members of the Scottish Parliament, trade union activists, academics and others.

She was introduced by Labour MSP Elaine Smith, who is a Deputy Leader in the Scottish Parliament.
