The Case Western Reserve University Department of Political Science seeks applications for a one-year fulltime visiting position (with possibility of reappointment for a second year), commencing August, 2014. The level of appointment of the successful candidate will be Assistant Professor (with Ph.D.) or Instructor (ABD). Candidates should have a primary research expertise in comparative politics or international relations, with a regional focus on China and/or East Asia. Applicants must be qualified to teach one or more courses in politics of China or other aspects of East Asian politics and an introductory course in International Relations or Comparative Politics. Applicants should also be prepared to teach an interdisciplinary seminar. Expected teaching assignment is two courses per semester.
