Julia Bianco (CWRU ’16) is defying gravity in her career in Los Angeles—including her work behind the curtain for the blockbuster Wicked!

In production of the latest reimagining of L. Frank Baum’s characters, Bianco was a U.S. assistant to director John M. Chu. She is also the author of the forthcoming novel Broken Coven (St. Martin’s Press), which tells of a group who provides refuge to unsettled witches in the city of angels, and the coven’s conflict with its rival.
