Congratulations to Lindsey Beasley, POSC 2011, who has won a scholarship from the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program.
Kenley Jones, who graduated with a BA in POSC in December 2010, has been accepted into the Peace Corps. She will be posted to Sierra Leone, where she will teach English as a second language to middle and high school aged students.
CWRU political science graduate Sasha Ghosh-Siminoff was studying until recently in Syria. He wrote the following article for The Guardian, published online on April 29. It puts a human face on the conflict.
The Walsh Prize is awarded by the American Political Science Association’s Organized Section on Science, Technology and Environmental Politics, for the best dissertation in science, technology and environmental politics finished in the last two years.
