We announce, with some pride and sadness, that Professor Jessica Green has accepted a position as Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Studies at New York University, and has resigned her position here in the Department of Political Science at CWRU.

We wish Professor Green all the best in her new position, and we celebrate her most recent success: her book Rethinking Private Authority: Agents and Entrepreneurs in Global Environmental Governance (Princeton University Press) has won the 2015 Lynton Keith Caldwell Prize, given for the best book on environmental politics and policy published in the past three years, by the American Political Science Association’s Organized Section on Science, Technology, and Environmental Politics.

Professor Green has recently contributed to the popular political science blog, The Monkey Cage, also published in the Washington Post, writing on Pope Francis’ encyclical on climate change, which can be read here.
