Opportunities and Announcements
for the Week of October 4, 2019
Third-year Political Science major Nick Vitello was featured this week in The Observer for his leadership in organizing a series of events in coordination with the “Global Climate Strike.” Congratulations to Nick and to our other students whose political engagement makes us proud. And hats off to Prof. Matt Hodgetts. Nick credits Prof. Hodgetts’ course POSC 388/488 Politics, Policy, and the Global Environment for sparking his activism, which since March includes the organization of three student strikes.
I look forward to seeing everyone today and tomorrow at the two Careers Colloquium events. Jacqueline Greene (BA ’07, JD ‘11) will give a public lecture this afternoon and lead a workshop tomorrow exclusively for Political Science majors.
Cheers,
Elliot Posner
